DAY 1: BERGEN
Flight or train to Bergen on request.
Individual arrival in Bergen. Free transfer to your hotel.
Bergen is Norway's second-largest city and the capital of western Norway. Known as "The Gateway to the Fjords", the city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover Bryggen's Hanseatic quays, the fish market and Mount Fløien.
Overnight at Clarion Hotel Admiral or similar.
DAY 2: BERGEN (Coastal cruise)
Day at leisure for personal exploration of the city.
Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of this port city, one of the oldest in Northern Europe.
In the evening, board the Coastal Express for a coastal cruise between Bergen and Molde.
After leaving the ship, enjoy an à la carte dinner of Norwegian specialties.
Spend the rest of the evening relaxing and admiring the spectacular scenery from the deck or in the panoramic lounge.
Overnight in a twin cabin with porthole (PDJ).
DAY 3: ÅLESUND - GEIRANGERFJORD - ÅLESUND (Coastal cruise)
Enjoy breakfast on board with a view of Nordfjord. Your ship, the Coastal Express, arrives in Ålesund.
After a short stopover in Ålesund, we set course for the spectacular Geirangerfjord, one of Norway's narrowest fjords. One of the most famous fjords in the world, it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005.
In the distance, snow-capped mountains rise up. You can see the magnificent Storsæter cascade with its powerful waterfalls, as well as small farms clinging to the mountainside several hundred meters above sea level.
Return to Ålesund, where you leave the boat. Free transfer on foot to your hotel. Check-in at Quality Hotel Alesund 3* or similar.

DAY 4: ÅLESUND - ÅNDALSNES (Hiking)
Morning at leisure for personal discovery of the town's Art Nouveau architecture, unique in Norway.
Visit the KUBE museum to learn more about the architecture and history of Ålesund. Weather permitting, climb the 418 steps of the city park to the Fjellstua viewpoint overlooking the city and fjords.
Optional: Kayak trip on the lovely Brosundet canal, which runs through Ålesund town center.
Afternoon bus journey to Åndalsnes (approx. 2 hours). On the way, a short crossing from Sølsnes to Åfarnes completes this magnificent day. Check-in at your hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Grand Hotel Bellevue or similar. (PDJ, DI)
DAY 5: ÅNDALSNES
After breakfast, explore Åndasnes, a small village nestled between fjords, high mountains and the Rauma River in the Romsdalen valley.
A hike to Rampestreken is highly recommended to take in the spectacular views. You can also rent a small electric car for 2 people at Grand Hotel Bellevue for the day.
Dinner and overnight stay at Grand Hotel Bellevue or similar. (PDJ, DI)
DAY 6: ÅNDALSNES - DOMBAS - TRONDHEIM (Rauma train + regular train)
In the morning, your train travel in Norway begins: you board the famous Rauma railroad. The train passes through magnificent landscapes of fjords, mountains and waterfalls, crossing 32 bridges. A stop near the famous Trollveggen vertical rock is scheduled along the way.
Arrive at Dombas station. A short transfer and you're back on the regular train to Norway's former capital, the beautiful city of Trondheim.

DAY 7: TRONDHEIM
Stroll through the pedestrian streets of the charming Bakklandet district. You can also rent a bike, a very popular mode of transport in Trondheim, to discover the city's must-sees.
On the banks of the Nidelva River, you can admire the 18th-century warehouses. From a distance, on the opposite bank, you'll notice the Gothic splendor of Nidaros Cathedral, Norway's largest church. For centuries, and still today, it's a major pilgrimage destination in Northern Europe, as the cathedral is built on the tomb of Saint Olav.
Move slightly away from the city center and visit the Krisriansen festing, a 17th-century fort.

DAY 6: ÅNDALSNES - DOMBAS - TRONDHEIM (Rauma train + regular train)
In the morning, your Norwegian train journey begins: you board the famous Rauma railroad. The train passes through magnificent landscapes of fjords, mountains and waterfalls, crossing 32 bridges. A stop near the famous Trollveggen vertical rock is scheduled along the way.
Arrive at Dombas station. A short transfer and you're back on the regular train to Norway's former capital, the beautiful city of Trondheim.

DAY 8: TRONDHEIM
Return to the airport on your own or book a transfer with Discovery Trains. Return flight (DDP)
